Dominion Command of The Royal Canadian Legion completed negotiations with National Defence to offer retiring members of the Canadian Forces, a one year free membership with the Legion. This offer is open to newly retired members, since June 2008. A special Application Form for this one year free Legion Membership, is included in the National Defence Retirement Package.
